Hamish has over 10 years’ experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer. He practises predominantly in the areas of equity capital markets, mergers & acquisitions (regulated and unregulated), commercial transactions, mining & resources, intellectual property, and business turnaround/restructuring.

Hamish has acted for clients in a diverse range of industries, including industrial technology and manufacturing, industrial equipment (manufacturing, supply and servicing), IT and software related services, mining and resources (explorers and producers), property development, agriculture, financial services and retail franchising.  With extensive experience advising public (including ASX, NSX and TSX-V listed companies) and private clients across various practice areas, Hamish is well placed to assist clients with all their corporate and commercial legal requirements, including advising on:

• regulated fundraising (IPOs, back-door listings and secondary raisings for listed entities);
• corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters;
• sale, purchase and joint venture transactions for securities, businesses and other assets;

Hamish’s most recent work includes advising:

• TSX-V listed companies on mergers with Australian companies by scheme of arrangement and secondary listing on ASX;
• on international distribution arrangements and establishment of joint ventures for industrial technology and manufacturing company; and
• various ASX listed companies on secondary capital raisings and regulatory compliance matters.
